A Novel Congestion Control Scheme using Firefly Algorithm Optimized Fuzzy-PID Controller in Wireless Sensor Network

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) consist of several sensor nodes, each which may collect, receive and transmit data. In recent years, WSNs have emerged as essential technologies due to their ubiquity in applications such the military, smartphones, disaster management, healthcare monitoring, other surveillance systems. The inability send data from node promptly impossibility new reaching node's queue indicate network congestion. packet will be either discarded or delayed, cause more loss, longer transmission delays, reduced throughput, lower quality service. To address this problem, paper proposes an efficient novel Firefly Algorithm-optimized Fuzzy-PID (FA-Fuzzy-PID) controller for congestion control (WSNs). proposed technique used a fuzzy algorithm overcome standard PID controller's slow optimization parameter, low calculation accuracy, limited adaptability.
